To learn firsthand about the latest innovations in the world of surface finishing systems design and manufacturing, we toured the Therma-Tron-X, also known as TTX, facility in northeast Wisconsin.
The city of Sturgeon Bay, located on the exclusive peninsula in northeast Wisconsin, welcomed us with a cold of 17 degrees Celsius below zero, and a thermal sensation of 30 degrees Celsius below zero, to visit its new facilities and talk with TTX Mexico staff who also visited the company’s corporate headquarters.
A little over a year after our last visit, the expansion of the plant, corporate offices and R&D areas, as well as the number of staff working in the company, is astonishing.
“This expansion reflects the steady growth that the company has been experiencing year after year. We continue to expand our capacity in an orderly and methodical manner, taking care not to lose our intangible values of high quality in engineering, since accelerated growth is never advisable. In Mexico, we have grown our infrastructure significantly, consolidating our presence in the market and reaffirming our position as a benchmark for fine and robust solutions,” said Pedro Castillo, Managing Director of TTX Mexico and Subsidiaries.
The plant tour highlights the impeccable and meticulous order, which allows us to see the progress of each of the projects that are in the various stages of design, manufacturing, assembly and shipping.
Since its inception, TTX has distinguished itself by waving the flag of innovation and making solutions that seemed unimaginable a reality, its multiple patents and the large number of systems installed on four continents attest to this.
“TTX’s innovation and development are industry benchmarks and have no comparison, as it is experienced in the company culture and expressed in every conversation in all work areas. The great hallmark of offering innovative solutions is imbued in every person who works in the company; positive and proactive thinking is what prevails in the work environment, which is perceived in the industry by customers and colleagues. The performance level is high; it is no exaggeration when we say that we apply the highest quality in engineering, which must be accompanied by the most reliable components in the industry, to ensure that every solution is consistent with the added value of the TTX brand,” said the Managing Director.
Several Entities, one family
As part of the year-end corporate activities, the visit of the group’s subsidiary companies to the Therma-Tron-X facilities is a key element, and this year is special because TTX Mexico and its subsidiaries are part of these. As of this, a special invitation was extended to La Revista del Color Mx to participate in and witness these important events.
For Gabriela Cantú, Director of Administration and Finance of TTX Mexico, it is of great importance that the Mexico team visits the Therma-Tron-X facilities and works with the corporate team.
“It is a great opportunity to strengthen the bond and sense of belonging to this great company that is a benchmark in the industry both in Mexico and the United States. It is very enriching to meet with the people with whom we interact throughout the year and to be immersed in the passion, commitment and dedication that prevails in the environment and is part of the company culture”.
For TTX Mexico service technicians, it is an opportunity to exchange experiences with personnel with whom they interact throughout the year both in installations and in service projects in all latitudes.
“It is a great experience to visit the heart of TTX and take the opportunity to update ourselves, to be able to maintain a circular dialogue that allows us to stay up to date on the innovations that make the difference in providing the best service to our customers in Mexico,” commented Orlando Alejo, Service Technician at TTX Mexico.
The investment in the development of technologies, mechanisms, software and all kinds of engineering solutions is considerable. The culture of innovation is tangible when touring the facilities and talking to the members of the engineering teams, who reflect in their gaze the pride of belonging to the company as they describe their work with a tone of voice denoting total conviction in what they do.
Robert Rock, VP of Strategic Development and TTX Environmental, expressed the importance of maintaining the sense of being a big family.
“It is extremely important for TTX to reinforce each year the message that all the companies in the group are one big family, that in the eyes of each customer and organization we are one company regardless of borders and statutes. Bringing everyone together in one place has brought great intangible value to each of the members, which we see reflected in the success and satisfaction levels of our customers.”
Through actions like these, TTX remains consistent in its Mission of driving the success of its employees, its communities and its customers, as well as continuing to grow its legacy as a family that demonstrates extraordinary passion, dedication and integrity, with steadfast loyalty and support for all those they serve.
