Coatings company PPG held a new edition of its Tech Days 2025 in San Luis Potosí, a specialized event focused on innovation in the automotive and coatings industries.
Attendees included representatives from OEM companies, distributors, strategic clients, and members of the media, who had the opportunity to learn firsthand about PPG’s latest solutions in areas such as sustainability, operational efficiency, and digitalization.
As part of the program, there was a special presentation by the San Luis Potosí Automotive Cluster, where the speaker addressed the challenges the industry may face under the tariff policies proposed by President Donald Trump.
Throughout the day, technical presentations were delivered on several key technologies:
- Substrate protection technologies, presented by Vivek Badarinarayana
- Adhesives and sealants, as well as digital solutions and traceability, presented by Alan Campos
- Powder coatings with a focus on efficiency and sustainability, presented by David Martínez
- Liquid paint innovations, presented by specialist Raúl Herrera
- An updated outlook on the automotive industry in the region, presented by Marek Marin Meister
Held at the Fiesta Americana Hotel in San Luis Potosí, this edition of Tech Day reaffirms PPG’s commitment to technological development in the sector, adding the state as one of the key locations on its 2025 coatings industry event calendar.
